Trade name Modiodal®, this is an analogue of adrafinil and a unique non-sleep-affecting stimulant, specially designed to treat narcolepsy, hypersomnia and cataplexy. Modafinil and adrafinil are the only two drugs in a unique class called Eugeroics, which literally means good arousal.

These remarkable drugs appear to only stimulate alpha-1 brain receptors that are responsible for the uptake of nor-adrenaline. As a result, they increase alertness and concentration, reducing the desire the nap (sleep), and yet at the same time display no addictive or "coming-down" side-effects. They are a new generation of stimulants for a modern world. Unsurprisingly they are known to have been used by the French Foreign Legion, as well as US and Belgian airforces.

Modafinil creates a regular and alert attention plateau for a period of up-to 8-hours of ingesting a 100mg tablet. Doses of modafinil are one tablets (100mg each) once or twice daily, or as required. Avoid use in the evening.

Caution: Modafinil is a controlled substance in the USA and Canada.

Chemical:
Modafinil and excipients- Lactose, corn starch, monosilicate of dehydrated magnesium, sodium croscarmellose polyvidone, talc, magnesium sterate.

Recommendations:
For the treatment of narcolepsy (with or without cataplexy), idiopathic hypersomnia.

Warning:

Precautions:
Do not use this product if you are pregnant or nursing.

Contraception:
