This product contains oxiracetam, the first analogue of piracetam. It is the closet derivative of piracetam and is used in the industry as the nootropic standard (in other words, when new Nootropics are designed they are compared to oxiracetam).

Like all the analogues, Oxiracetam is more potent mg dose / Kg bodyweight when compared to Piracetam.

Neuromet doses are 1 tablet (800mg each) twice daily.

Remember that all Nootropics are synergistic with each other and with other brain nutrition products, (for example, choline, DMAE, Hydergine, Lucidril etc). When combining these products the individual doses may have to be reduced in order to avoid possible side effects of nausea and headaches.

Ingredients: 800-mg tablets, Each tablet contains 800 mg oxiracetam (4-hydroxy-2-oxo-1-pyrrolidinacetamide)

Excipients: Cornstarch, sodium, magnesium stearate.

Neuromet is available in: 20 800-mg tablets, 10 1-g vials, 1 120-ml solution for oral use, 10 5-ml single-dose flacons for oral use

Therapeutic Indications: Mental syndromes caused by cerebral insufficiency, disturbances in mental performance in the elderly.

INFORMATION WHICH SHOULD BE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS MEDICINE:
Contraindications: Known hypersensitivity on the part of the patient to the product. Significant renal insufficiency.

Precautions: In the case of renal insufficiency, the dosage of the product should be lowered.

Expectant and nursing mothers: This product should be used by pregnant women and nursing mothers only when absolutely necessary and always under a doctor’s supervision.

Interactions with other medicines or interactions of another nature: No adverse interactions have been noted.

Important: Neuromet does not affect in any way the patient’s capacity to drive or to operate machinery. KEEP OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Neuromet’s easy absorption enables the patient to adapt easily to a single dose, depending on his symptoms and response to treatment. Administration (oral or parenteral) may be chosen according to the dosage to be taken, duration of treatment and the patient’s overall condition.
Oral: The average dosage is 800 mg, twice daily. 800-mg tablets: one tablet, twice daily
Oral solution (120-ml flacon): 1 5-ml measure twice daily
Oral solution (5-ml single-dose flacon): 1 flacon twice daily.
During maintenance treatment, the daily dosage may be reduced or increased, as the doctor deems necessary.

Parenteral : The daily dosage is 2 to 8 g depending on the patient’s clinical situation. Administration is carried out by intravenous injection or infusion. The 1-g vial can also be used for intramuscular injections.

Measures to take in case of overdose: Symptoms arising from overdose of this product have not been noted.

ADVERSE EFFECTS: Although very rarely, increased psychomotor excitability and sleep disorders have been observed, as a result of an extreme reaction to the product by the patient. In such cases, it is recommended simply to reduce the dosage. Should you notice any adverse effect not described in this leaflet, report it to your doctor or chemist.
